Services
Repairs, maintenance, and minor improvements for homes and rental properties in Los Angeles County. Each category below lists what is offered, its scope, and recent work.
What “minor work” means. Jonathan Espinoza is not a licensed contractor. JonWorks 247 performs only minor work that qualifies for California’s handyman exemption (Business and Professions Code §7048): the total for a project, including labor and materials, is under $1,000; no building permit is required; and no employees are used. Larger projects are not split into smaller jobs. Work that needs a permit or a licensed trade, or that costs $1,000 or more, is referred to a licensed contractor.
